Delete any existing copies of SEE Finance 2 for macOS:
The Mac App Store will not allow you to download a version of a program that is already installed. If you previously installed a copy of SEE Finance 2 for macOS that was obtained any where outside of the Mac App Store, such as for trial use, then you will need to delete it first before you can download a copy from the Mac App Store. Don't worry about losing any data you've already created though. On macOS, data files are always stored separately from the program itself. This allows you to delete and reinstall the program without deleting any of your data file(s) for the program. Use the steps below to locate and delete any copies of SEE Finance 2 for macOS and delete them.
- Use Finder to check your Applications folder, Downloads folder, and any custom download location for there being any copies of SEE Finance 2 for macOS. Move any that are found to the Trash.
- Once all copies are in the Trash, verify there's nothing in the Trash you need before selecting to "Empty the Trash" in the next step as they will be permanently deleted.
- Select "Empty the Trash" from Finder's File menu.

It is an option to keep older versions of SEE Finance.
Multiple copies of the program can be kept by storing them in separate subfolders within your Applications folder.
For example, keep the first version of SEE Finance in a subfolder named "SEE Finance Version 1" and keep SEE Finance 2 in a subfolder named "SEE Finance Version 2".
It is not recommended to keep multiple copies of the same major version such as version 2.0.1, 2.0.2, 2.1, 2.X, etc as that can lead to confusion and the latest release of a major version should almost always be used.
Install from the Mac App Store:
- Go to the SEE Finance 2 for macOS page in the Mac App Store on your Mac.
- Purchase SEE Finance 2 for macOS by clicking on the price. If you have already purchased SEE Finance 2 for macOS then you can click "Download" to download it again.
- If prompted, authenticate your Apple ID to complete the purchase.
- After the program finishes downloading you can click "Open" to open the program and quit the App Store app. You can also use Finder to open the program from your Applications folder.
- Pin the program's Dock icon to the Dock if desired. To pin a Dock icon, Control-click on the program's Dock icon to be shown a pop-up menu and then in the Options submenu select the "Keep in Dock" option.
- Then get started using SEE Finance 2 for macOS.
- Use the info in the Apple Support section below for troubleshooting any issues with the Mac App Store.
- Go to the SEE Finance 2 for macOS page in the Mac App Store on your Mac.
