Portfolio Watch List View:

  1. The "1" marker is just below the "Info" and graph buttons that raises and lowers the security info view (see marker "8") and graph view.
  2. The "2" marker shows the location of the held securities table, which lists all the held securities and abide by the "Hide Inactive" selection.
  3. The "3" marker shows the location of the selected security's graph view. This graph shows the historical prices of the stock selected in the stock positions table. Control clicking ("Control + click") the graph allows you to select longer/shorter time intervals for the graph.
  4. The "4" marker is just below the add ("+") and remove ("-") watched security buttons. To add a watched security, first you select the type of security you want to add by selecting one or a type of one in the watched securities table, then you enter the symbol in the text field (marker "5"), then click the "+" button. To delete a watched security simply select it from the watched securities table and click the "-" button.
  5. The "5" marker shows the text field for entering new watched security symbols (use finance.yahoo.com to lookup symbols)
  6. The "6" marker is above the "Lookup Symbols" button, which when clicked will take you to the Yahoo! Finance symbol lookup page.
  7. The "7" marker is above the "Quotes Table" button, which when clicked will display the table of historical quotes for the selected security. In that table you can examine and edit the selected securities historical quotes.
  8. The "8" marker is above the "Import Quotes" button, which is how you start the process of importing historical quotes for securities from QIF and CSV files..
  9. The "9" marker shows the location of the securities info view, which lists all kind of useful information about the selected security in the table.
