Tag transactions

Tagging transactions can add another dimension to your transaction tracking beyond what you can accomplish with categories. Transactions can have any number of tags. Using tags can help reduce the number of categories you need. For example, instead of having a subcategory on each of your "Auto" categories for a different car, you can have a tag for each car instead. Common uses for tags include: tagging business and personal expenses separately, having tags for each member of a family, and for tracking events like having a "Europe 2018" tag to track a vaction.

After tagging transactions, you can generate tag reports. You can also customize other transaction based reports, such as category reports, to only include transactions using specific tags.
