Default Transaction Types
Transaction types in SEE Finance helps to make tracking your transactions easy. You mark
transactions as falling into particular transaction type. Some of these transaction types automatically identify
the transaction as having an impact on the account as either positive (like "Deposit") or negative
(like "Direct Debit"), others allow for either (like "ATM"). Using transaction types you can track your spending
habits across all your accounts. Many common transaction types are supplied with SEE Finance. These default
transaction types cannot be deleted. The use of the general transaction types use is strictly up to the user's preference. Check out the information below to find out more about the default transaction types
in SEE Finance.
***Note: Many of the default transaction types and all custom transaction types can have their amount restrictions customized.
For example by default the "POS" type will allow either negative or positive amounts for transactions (due to refunds), but you can
set the "POS" type to only allow negative amounts if desired.***
